Maker Space Kuenstler Stipendien

The 1,200m2 high-tech workshop MakerSpace at Munich Urban Colab is a paradise for artists and creative minds: In addition to modern 3D printers, laser cutters and various machines in the wood workshop and electronics lab, there is a textile workshop, labs for IoT and robotics. The perfect place to turn your idea into reality!

The Munich Urban Colab and the MakerSpace award ten scholarships to artists and creatives who want to use the MakerSpace at the Munich Urban Colab to realize their idea or project.

The scholarship includes the use of machines, tools and the available software. In addition, you can participate in two courses of the category A/B for free. All projects will be presented to the public at a vernissage on November 28th/29th, 2023.

Your application should include the following:

  • Description of your idea or project (max. two pages including images or sketches).
  • How do you want to use the MakerSpace for the realization of your idea or project? Which machines do you need and which courses do you want to attend? Or would you like to be inspired by the machines for a project?
  • Short resume with references (portfolio)

You don't need any experience with high-tech machines or digital processing - everything you need will be taught by our experienced trainers on site!
