General

The Munich Urban Colab is open Monday - Thursday from 08:00 - 20:00 and on Friday & Saturday from 08:00 - 18:00. During this time the reception is operating. Members with an access card can also use their reserved coworking and office spaces outside these opening hours.

Only members with an access card can use their booked coworking and office spaces on weekends and holidays. For non-members the Munich Urban Colab is not open on weekends and holidays. The Cafe & Restaurant "Flash Gordon" is also closed on weekends and holidays.

Munich Urban Colab has a parking garage. However, parking is very limited due to high occupancy by our members. Parking spaces must always be reserved in advance via our internal booking tool or via our front desk.

We recommend arriving by bike or public transportation. The stations Leonrodplatz and Hochschule München are within five minutes walking distance from the Munich Urban Colab.

Of course, but for safety reasons children must be supervised by a parent or adult at all times.

No, out of respect for allergic persons and people who are afraid of dogs, it is prohibited to bring dogs in the Munich Urban Colab. Assistance/Service dogs are of course allowed.

The Munich Urban Colab and the event spaces are accessible for people with limited mobility or in wheelchairs. Barrier-free toilets are available on the ground floor and on the 3rd floor. There are disabled parking spaces available upon request in the parking garage as well as a wheelchair-accessible lift.

Yes, but the scope and purpose of the use must always be coordinated with our team in advance. A filming permit is also required. If you are interested, please fill out this form. We will get back to you as soon as possible.

Membership

There are two different types of memberships at Munich Urban Colab: We offer office spaces and dedicated desks. Please note that these are strictly curated and only given to companies, organizations and individuals working on solutions for the city of the future. If you would like to find out more about our memberships, please contact welcome@munich-urban-colab.com.

All workspaces are equipped with high-speed internet and height-adjustable desks and chairs. Members have access to the Munich Urban Colab 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This includes weekends and holidays.

As part of the community, all members benefit from the unique ecosystem of the Munich Urban Colab: This includes the start-up programs and initiatives of UnternehmerTUM - including the incubator XPRENEURS, the accelerator Techfounders, the Digital Product School, the Digital Hub Mobility, BEFIVE and the venture fund UVC - as well as established companies, start-ups from all industries, scientists and talents from various disciplines.

Other benefits of a membership include:

  • Monthly credits for booking our meeting rooms (number of credits depends on the number of workspaces)
  • Mail and package acceptance service
  • Printing and scanning
  • Fully equipped kitchen with stove, coffee machine, tea and water
  • Free sports program at the Munich Urban Colab Living Lab
  • Access to exclusive member events
  • In-house café & restaurant and catering service
  • Use of all common areas (including terrace and two winter gardens)

A membership runs for a minimum of three months. The duration is agreed upon with each member individually.

Yes, as a member you can. Please note that guests must be registered through our internal booking tool. Once registered, guests will receive a confirmation email. If you have any questions, please contact welcome@munich-urban-colab.com.

You may cancel your membership three months prior to the end of the quarter. Cancellation must be in writing.

No, this is not possible.

Yes, there are areas at the Munich Urban Colab that are open to the public. For example, our in-house café & restaurant "Flash Gordon" is open Monday - Friday from 09:00 - 16:00. Of course, you can also join our events.

Events

Yes, we offer suitable event and meeting rooms for every occasion - no matter if conferences, symposia, lectures, workshops, exhibitions or discussion forums. You can find all options here.
